Dental implants are customised tooth replacements. They involve a multi-appointment process which includes scans, a consultation, removal of damaged tooth (if still in mouth), placing a titanium tooth implant fixture with a healing cap, and finally a customised crown. The mouth does require time between appointments to allow for the body to accept the new addition, swelling to go down and healing to occur. The process generally takes 4-6 months to complete and will leave you with a very natural looking, fully functional and permanent tooth replacement.
