  • Please call our lovely staff to arrange your initial consultation on 02 8419 0202.

  • Many of our patients experience dental and medical anxiety. This is why we offer specialised services like in-chair dental sedation, so that you can have your dental treatment without fear.

  • Twighlight Dental Sedation is a 'light' intravenous sedation which can be done in the dental chair with the assistance of a sedation nurse. Patients are conscious enough to be able to respond to the dentist and nurse (e.g. can you open your mouth a bit wider, or turn your head this way) while the dentistry is being done. The great thing about dental sedation is that patients have no memory of the procedures - something our anxious patients really love!

  • Yes, we encourage you to bring a support person. Should you wish, they will be able to attend your consultations.
If you are having Twilight Sedation, you must have a support person to drive you home and stay with you overnight.

  • Planning treatment for your best oral health outcomes requires information gathering, assessment and planning by the dentist. The information gathered will include both diagnostic processes and information from you about what you are hoping to achieve. The information is then factored in with the dentists assessment of the current dental landscape and the desired outcome - using such tools as scans, x-rays, and photos. Finally, the dentist will put together some plans for your information and consideration at your planning/consultation appointment.

  • Many people can have wisdom teeth removed in the dental practice. Suitability for in-chair removal depends on the complexity of how the teeth are sitting in the mouth - are they erupted, impacted, twisted or degraded? Options will be discussed with you at the treatment consultation.

  • Depending on your level of cover with your health insurer, you may be able to claim a rebate. Your health insurer will be able to give you accurate information following your treatment consult as you will have the item codes they need.

  • Children's dentistry requires a tailored approach suitable for younger patients. We can refer your child to a suitable children's dentist whose practice is geared for under 18s.

  • Your dentist will advise you on these questions. If you have had sutures, be aware that the gums will heal much faster without being exposed to smoke or alcohol. Patients will be prescribed recommended pharmaceuticals following treatment as needed.
