IV Sedation

We understand that receiving dental treatment can be a very anxious experience for some people. The option of dental sedation has proven to be a game-changer for anxious patients. As you work with Dr Rob to develop your treatment plan, you will be able to advise our team of particular triggers so that the team can plan around those to make your experience a positive one! IV sedation involves a brief pre-medical check with Dr Rob and/or the nurse to ensure IV sedation is suitable for you. On the day, you will be greeted by the team and shown into the treatment room where the nurse will gently place a cannula. Shortly after this, the nurse will administer some medications through the cannula to begin the light sedation process. Once you are comfortable, the dental treatment will begin.
